Data Retention Management

The Data Retention Management option allows users to define how long an individual's data can be retained by a property and after when it must be anonymized. Properties can carry out a scheduled anonymizing job based on the Data Retention Management setup conditions. Retention policies are created at the tenant level while the policies are mapped at the property level.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation that dictates key Personally identifiable information (PII) in place for Agilysys Stay to store any individual data. According to GDPR, a property can retain an individual's data based on these 6 reasons:

• Contract Fulfillment

• Legal Obligation

• Protect Vital Interests of Data Subject

• Public Interest

• Controller Legitimate Reason

• Data Subject Consent
